I have reasons to believe that SATA cable connectors are NOT reliabale and in fact loose enough to the point to allow oxidation to set in and from there the problems. I've run diagnostics on all the hardware, followed the recommendations on the HP site to correct this error, run chkdsk and talked to the HP tech support. Just be sure to remember what it is.
