So my next course of action was to get a wireless adapter and connect it to a wireless router. Just got my nephew a new Win 7 laptop and wanted to share 9GB of all my old mp3's. June 10, 2009 PeterH When I tried to install a network printer connected to a xp machine from windows 7, windows 7 said it couldn't because the print spooler wasn't running The usual solution is to delete the connection and make a new one with the right parameters. For a non-techie, this is just what I needed. Makes file sharing that little bit hassle-free.
