My settings in Power options are all to turn off after 10 or 15 minutes. Really, who likes a glaring (literally) distraction while watching a movie or having a bright light on in the room when you're trying to sleep. Every method to put this computer to sleep (automatically after a period of inactivity, through the start menu, or by closing the lid) results in the computer going to sleep, then Power Management * Uncheck: "ALLOW THIS DEVICE TO WAKE UP THE COMPUTER" That will take care of the problem-- at least the one that this causes. http://ksresource.net/windows-7/need-to-backup-files-from-win7-rc-to-win7-pro.html
