I finally tried rebooting, but it just goes back into the same loop unless I tap F8 upon restart, then I can get to the Safe Mode Screen. If you don't see the file system, then the data is gone. Launch Startup Repair Windows 7 i followed your steps but after clicking on repair your computer top up menu is not opening. If you have a genuine Windows that starts up with that message or see that not genuine thing in bottom rt corner of desktop get rid of that update.

The option to disable automatic restart on system failure is available from the Advanced Boot Options menu at startup.
