I've got this laptop for about 2 and a half years and it began to run slow. Was the easiest fix for me. Restart and your back to normal. I'm running a dual monitor (Dell monitors) setup connected via HDMI and VGA to HDMI. his comment is here

solved GTX 670 dead after playing Mad Max solved graphics card compatible with a gigabyte GA-Z87X-D3H-currently running a GTX-670 solved gtx 670 as phys x card and perfomance issues with dead System kept going into repair mode at boot until I pulled the HDMI running to my capture card pass through. That's just insane.
Same as holding shift while rebooting from OS. My specific issue is, when I attempt to install it, the driver crashes mid-way through and BSOD's my computer. Once in Windows, I uninstalled the existing driver (didn't need any drive sweeper/cleaner tools) then reinstalled 362.00 (advanced options, clean install, no 3D stuff), rebooted, and all was well.
