I fixed it by unplugging the monitor plugged into the HDMI slot in my card - I have another monitor in one of the DVI slots. Was causing a startup loop in Win10. This accompanied by broken textures and occasionally a message saying that the Nvida Kernel Mode driver has crashed. A Nvidia Open GL driver error. Once the computer starts back up from the bsod, everything will be fine again. some problem in vga driver. Reinstalling an older nvidia driver now. First time I had not yet figured out that it was the video driver since it's usually a windows update that crashes my computer. I have resorted to modifying a 314.22 driver to work with my 780 and I can actually do stuff without drivers stopping and recovering, artifacting, programs stop responding, and system lock
