The best way might be to have the line numbers but then the person's initials at the start of the block of text itself. It seems to have learnt my coding style (or have the options in it for all coding styles and it picks up what you're using) and automatically indents everything correctly. Keep in mind that that will remove all tabs in the document, not just the ones you used ot indent the first line of paragraphs. So these are all reasons for adding line numbers to a Word document.
